  1. 16. Do OTC warming effects on ecosystem processes depend on moss species identity, precipitation, and moss removal?

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för ekologi, miljö och geovetenskap

    Författare :Alexina Brännlund; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Experimental warming; Subarctic tundra mosses; Productivity; Ecosystem respiration; Decomposition;

    Sammanfattning : Long-term warming experiments in arctic tundra have resulted in reduced moss cover and increased vascular plant cover. As mosses have a major impact on microclimatic conditions, changes in community composition can potentially alter direct and indirect drivers of productivity and decomposition, which are low in arctic ecosystems. 2. 17. Shifting paradigms in practice? Investigating the compatibility of Germany's energy cooperatives with sustainable degrowth

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Internationella miljöinstitutet

    Författare :Leon Bartling; [2023]
    Nyckelord :degrowth; community energy; cooperatives; renewable energy transition; degrowth framework for community energy; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The concept of sustainable degrowth presents itself as a normative response to some of the most pressing socio-ecological challenges of our time. The energy sector plays a prominent role in the degrowth debate, however, there is limited conceptual and empirical understanding of how energy production and consumption might look like from a degrowth perspective and which actors might be compatible with the degrowth ideals. 3. 18. How to be Organizational Agile under Digital Disruptions : Exploring the perspective of Subsidiary Management in an IT Multinational Enterprise

    Master-uppsats, Jönköping University

    Författare :Lovisa Lindgren; Dennis Oskarsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Organizational Agility; Subsidiary Management; Digital Disruption; Multinational Enterprises; Dynamic Capabilities;

    Sammanfattning : Background: From digitalization acceleration, digital disruptions such as edge-cutting technologies, have caused challenges and changes to business’ natures in terms of value, structures, and strategies. No industry nor organization is immune to these impacts, especially multinational enterprises in the information technology industry, whereas these businesses have started to overlook and disregard traditional ways of working to enhance these impacts. 4. 19. Development Studies from a Decolonial Perspective:Discourse Analysis on the OECD Development Reports

    Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för samhällsstudier (SS)

    Författare :Ana Lucía Garín Rodríguez; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Development; Decolonial Thought; Discourse Analysis; Postcolonial and Neo-colonial Theories; OECD; Global South; Wester-centrism.; Pensamiento Decolonial; Subalternidad; Pensamiento Latinoamericano;

    Sammanfattning : The concept of development has been extensively researched, and it isa key topic in political and economic international and domestic agendas.Modernization and globalization theories have been the most prevalentanalytical approaches to development, but from a postcolonial and decolonialperspective, these theories are Western-centric, overgeneralized, andoverused. 5. 20. Inkjet printed piezoelectric energy harvesters based on self-assembly of diphenylalanine peptide

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Yujie Fu; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Inkjet printing; piezoelectric energy harvester; diphenylalanine peptide; self-assembly; Bläckstråleutskrift; piezoelektrisk energiskördare; difenylalaninpeptid; självmontering;

    Sammanfattning : Diphenylalanine peptide (Phe-Phe or FF) is a very promising bio-material in the future wearable electronics application due to its self-assembly into nanotubes and nanoribbons with high shear piezoelectric coefficient which is comparable to traditional inorganic piezoelectric materials. In order to efficiently harvest piezoelectric response, alignment and unidirectional polarization of FF nanotubes are required. LÄS MER
