The questions regard whether or not the horse was a high status animal during older to younger bronze age in the region and whether or not we can argue this based on rock carvings, horse gear and other pictorial renderings where the horse is present. Non-intimate femicide (and, particularly, murder committed by complete strangers to the victim, to which this study refers as “stranger femicide”) has historically been, and still is, the most covered type of femicide in the media. This study will apply gender theory on the findings of reliefs in Göbekli Tepe to further the information about this area.
