6. Design of a workstation for teleoperated forwarders : Exploring the future work within forestry
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för ekonomi, teknik och samhälleSammanfattning : This thesis work has been the result of a five-year Industrial Design Engineering education at Luleå University of Technology. The project has investigated the possibilities of teleoperating forest machines using a human-centered design approach. The work has been conducted for Skogforsk, which is the Swedish institute for forestry. LÄS MER
7. Using Augmented-Reality for Visualizing a Social Robot’s Internal State
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Humans are very good at conveying when something is lost or misinterpreted in communication by using social cues like facial expressions or changes in prosody. However, these methods are usually not applicable for most robots, which are appearance constrained and vocality constrained. LÄS MER
8. A study on wrist-based haptic weight conveyance in immersive virtual environments
Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Halmstad Embedded and Intelligent Systems Research (EIS)Sammanfattning : Physical properties of objects are some of the features that are lost when users are immersed in today's virtual environments that usually only provide visual and auditory stimuli. In a quest to recover the physical perception of touch, in this work, we present two different studies to assess how force feedback applied solely on the wrist can convey weight. LÄS MER
9. Charge transport in a Hubbard-Holstein junction: Preliminary results from a DFT approach.
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk fysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Many-body systems are extremely complicated to describe due to mutual interactions between the constituent particles. This is for example the case of systems with electron-electron (e-e) and electron-phonon (e-ph) interactions. LÄS MER
10. A Search for Neonicotinoid Binding Sites in the Optic Lobes of Honeybees and Blowflies
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Examensarbeten i molekylärbiologiSammanfattning : Neonicotinoid insecticides are agonists to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the brains of insects. At sub-lethal doses these chemicals cause behavioral abnormalities in several bee species, reducing overall fitness. nAChRs expressed in the optic lobes of insects bind neonicotinoids, thus may be involved in these behavioral changes.
