  2. 2. Smärtskattning med Verbal Rating Scale - VRS : En kvalitetsförbättringsstudie

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för vård, arbetsliv och välfärd

    Författare :Camilla Engrup; Susanne Jacobsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :educational intervention; emergency care; pain assessment; pain assessment scale; utbildningsintervention; akutsjukvård; smärtskattning; smärtskattningsskala;

    Sammanfattning : Smärta är den vanligaste sökorsaken för patienter på akutmottagningar, trots detta visar forskning att underbehandling av akut smärta förekommer över hela världen På grund av att smärta är subjektiv kan det vara mycket svårt att mäta patienternas smärta. Bedömningen av smärta bygger på patienternas självskattning. LÄS MER

  3. 3. An aeroelastic prediction model for slender wings in supersonic flow

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Flygdynamik

    Författare :Zakarias Priebe; Alexander Hasp Frank; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Aeroelasticity is a multidisciplinary subject encompassing several fields of study. Aeroelastic behaviour is defined by the relation between inertial-, elastic- and aerodynamic forces that appear in dynamic systems in steady- or unsteady conditions. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Are athletes active in high-contact sports at risk of impaired executive functioning? A quasi-experimental study on competitive mixed martial arts (MMA) athletes.

    Magister-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Författare :Candice Cattaneo; [2021]
    Nyckelord :High-contact sports; executive functioning; repetitive head injury; concussion; fullkontaktsport; exekutiva funktioner; upprepade huvudskador; hjärnskakning;

    Sammanfattning : The study of high-contact sport athletes and the implications of repetitive head injury (RHI) associated with these sports has been at the forefront of traumatic brain injury (TBI) research for the last decade. The present study represents a quasi-experimental study exploring whether an experimental group (N=39) consisting of amateur and professional competitive mixed martial arts (MMA) athletes differ in three operations of executive functioning ability (shifting, updating and inhibition) when compared to a control group (N=44) of non-contact sports athletes.
