It seems likely that the coveted solutions to problems like quantum gravity are to be found in an extension of general relativity, one which may only be visible in an alternate formulation of the theory.    Sammanfattning : This paper is a reformulation of Leonard Dickson's complete classification of the finite subgroups of the two-dimensional special linear group over an arbitrary algebraically closed field, SL(2,F).
