  1. 1. Virtual Sensing for Cluster Vacuum Control

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Carl Egenäs; Axel Sacilotto; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this project was to develop a virtual sensing model in order to estimate the vacuum level in the milking cluster with data collected further along the milk tube. Measuring the cluster vacuum level is desirable for many applications, such as control and monitoring, but due to the cow's tendency to kick, chew and stomp on anything within reach, placing a sensor in or close to the cluster is both difficult and impractical. Sammanfattning : Testing, verification and validation of sensors, components and systems is vital in the early-stage development of new cars with computer-in-the-car architecture. This can be done with the help of the existing technique, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing which, in the close loop testing case, consists of four main parts: Real-Time Simulation Platform, Sensor Simulation PC, Interface Unit (IU), and unit under test which is, for instance, a Vehicle Computing Unit (VCU). 3. 3. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF EXOSKELETONS WHILE PERFORMING DIFFERENT TASKS OF WORKERS

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Elektronik

    Författare :Muhammad Umer Sami; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Exoskeleton; Lower-back-muscle; Electromyography; SuitX; BackX;

    Sammanfattning : Lifting weights, moving large, heavy objects, or maintaining same posture for extended periods of time exposes workers, mostly in the industrial sector, to pressure on their lower backs, which can have a significant negative impact and result in a variety of musculoskeletal problems and discomfort. The use of an exoskeleton can help to protect workers against lower back injuries of this kind. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Optimal Knock Sensor Spatial Locations of In-line Combustion Engines : A Case Study of Scania Engines

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Hassan Hussein; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years, there has been a growing interest in utilizing knock sensors as a diagnostic tool for providing valuable insights into the combustion process. These sensors have demonstrated their potential to offer information regarding crucial parameters such as the start of combustion, heat release rate, misfire events, and valve events. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Static Extrinsic Calibration of a Vehicle-Mounted Lidar Using Spherical Targets

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysik

    Författare :Philip Sandström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Self-driving cars are steadily becoming a reality by a growing number of driver assistance functions enabled by smart perception sensors. The light detection and ranging (lidar) sensor show great potential for perception tasks due to its precise distance measurements. LÄS MER
