   Sammanfattning : This essay analyzes the different representations of migrants that were expressed by the Swedish government between November 2015 and January 2019 using the theory of coloniality. This was done in order to critically examine the statements about migrants made by the politicians in the government, and thus potentially discuss the racist and colonialist images of the non-European “other” that underlie these statements.
