    Sammanfattning : In Sweden, thousands of people work as high school teachers and of these, 7% left the profession in 2019. One reason is stress. Previous research shows that teachers are 50% more likely to suffer from stress-related fatigue compared to other occupational groups and one reason for this is a lack of balance between work and private life.     Sammanfattning : Climate change and human impact play a huge role in the sustainability and development of ecosystems and the services they offer to societies over temporal and spatial scales. Fossil pollen-based estimates provide unique information on past land cover change, but to date there are not many methods able to create spatially continuous maps and have a fine scale of land cover changes inferred from pollen information.     Sammanfattning : With the development of extremely precise spectral filters based on spectral hole burning and slow light effects, the idea of their implementation in an Ultrasound Optical Tomography (UOT) medical imaging technique arose. Simulations have shown that the resulting Contrast-to-Noise (CNR) ratio is fairly good at depths up to 5 cm but decreases dramatically when probing deeper in tissue. LÄS MER
