  1. 1. Klimatpåverkan från användning av stålspont vid anläggningsarbeten : Utvärdering av klimatåtgärder ur ett livscykelperspektiv

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Felix Jansson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Livscykelanalys; LCA; klimat; klimatpåverkan; stål; stålspont; anläggning; infrastruktur;

    Sammanfattning : Ståltillverkning är en av de största källorna till växthusgasutsläpp och står globalt för 7–9 %av utsläppen. Stålspont används ofta som grundförstärkning inom Trafikverkets entreprenader. Syftet med studien är att utvärdera möjliga åtgärder för att minska klimatpåverkan vid användning av stålspont vid anläggningsarbeten. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Has the EU ETS been efficient in reducing carbon dioxide emissions without harming firm revenue?

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Ekonomisk-historiska institutionen

    Författare :Elin Raab; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The increasing urgency of climate change has raised the need for effective climate policy. The European Union emissions trading system (EU ETS) is the world’s first and largest ‘cap and trade’ policy which aims at reducing carbon dioxide emissions at the most cost-efficient allocation. 3. 3. Analysis on copper, lead and tin removal in steel scrap sorting : Technologies involved, environmental considerations and economic aspects

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Materialvetenskap

    Författare :Giada Cavaliere; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Copper; Tin; Lead; Steel Scrap Sorting; Ballistic Separation; Dilution; Revenue Modelling; CO2 emissions Modelling; Tenn; Bly; Sortering av stålskrot; Ballistisk separation; Utspädning; lntäktsmodellering; CO2-utsläppsmodellering;

    Sammanfattning : With the urgency of cutting down CO2 emissions to reach climate neutrality by 2050, decarbonization of the steel industry is on the European Commission's agenda. Steelmaking accounts for 10 % of anthropogenic CO2 emissions and it is one of the most challenging sectors to decarbonize. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Biogas Potential in the North of Sweden : Inventory and Techno-Economic Assessment of Substrates for an Increased Biogas Production in Norrbotten

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)

    Författare :Alma Fahlén Hammar; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Biogas; anaerobic digestion; AD; Norrland; bioenergy; fossil-free; chemical engineering; Chemistry; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Great investments are planned in the north of Sweden the coming years, not the least in the county of Norrbotten where the projects collectively are referred to as the green transition due to the focus on fossil-free techniques. But to be able to secure a sustainable energy supply and reach the goal set by the member states of the European Union of a carbon dioxide neutral union in 2050 the production of alternative energy sources needs to intensify. 5. 5. Innovation in Industrial Building Sustainability : Exploring timber frames as a viable alternative to steel frames in industrial buildings A case study of Sweco AB

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och industriell teknik

    Författare :Kiavosh Saidi Mosanen; Ibrahim Mohamed Fathi Taha; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sustainability; Industrial buildings; Construction; Material selection; Timer; Steel; Innovation; Sustainability; Hållbarhet; Industribyggnader; Konstruktion; Materialval; Timer; Stål; Innovation; Hållbarhet;

    Sammanfattning : Lund University (2020) describes that the material chosen for the construction of constructions significantly affects the environment. Due to the impact of the choice of construction materials on the environment, we have carried out an in-depth study where we examine the complex decision-making process when choosing frame materials concerning both external and internal factors where external influences become regulatory requirements related to global sustainability goals with the aim that the industrial construction industry can find sustainable solutions such as hybrid solutions in the choice of frame materials, while internal factors involve financial considerations linked to the protection of materials against environmental conditions and challenges that industrial buildings can face.
