    Sammanfattning : This study examines the nature and background to the Credit Value Adjustment(CVA), a concept that has gained focus due the it’s heightened importance for financial institutions subsequent to the 2008 financial crisis. CVA can be defined as the the price that should be added to the bilateral defaultable contract to adjust for the existing Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) so that the contract will have the same value as a corresponding risk-free contract.     Sammanfattning : In this study, the Japanese animated film My Neighbor Totoro was analyzed with regards to what childhood discourses can be found in it, and why these discourses in particular appear. To do this, discourse theory was used as the main theoretical basis, and certain aspects of hermeneutics were also used, such as combining the hermeneutic spiral with basic film analysis as a method.     Sammanfattning : The half-round lunette window is a common architectural detail in Swedish houses and older buildings since the middle of the 18th century. Knowledge about how older frames was methodically constructed, is today difficult to find in literature, and from the cultural historical point of view it is of the utmost importance that the few existing lunette frames that still exists will be well cared for and restored with the right methods.     Sammanfattning : This study relates to the transcription of foreign personal names into kanji in Japanese. The study is based upon a paper where Tokimoto & d’Arcais (2000) confirmed three working principles when natives transcribe place names written in hiragana: that jukugo reading will be preferred over juubako reading, that as few kanji segmentations as possible will be used, and that the names will be segmented bimoraically from the beginning of the word.
