  1. 1. Digital Dashboard for Enhanced Waste Management in the Stockholm Municipality : Bridging Data Insights and Sustainable Practices

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Youssef Ramy Farouk Fam; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Waste management; Dashboard; Design; Digitalisation; Data visualization; Waste sorting behavior; Avfallshantering; Dashboard; Design; Digitalisering; Datavisualisering; Källsorteringsbeteende;

    Sammanfattning : The surging global trend in waste generation, currently surpassing 2 billion tons annually in cities,stands as a pressing concern amid escalating climate change threats. This master's thesis aims todesign a digital dashboard tailored to the needs of the Stockholm Municipality's waste managementsystem and its different stakeholders. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Engaged Employees in Energy Conservation : exploring how to get there

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Avdelningen för byggnadsteknik, energisystem och miljövetenskap

    Författare :Linnea Bedoire; Maria Nordling; [2023]
    Nyckelord :community-based social marketing; pharmaceutical industry; employee engagement; energy conservation; intervention; workplace; norms; pro-environmental behaviors;

    Sammanfattning : Energy consumption is one of the major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions and to climate change. Renewable energy sources are one way of mitigating the problem, but behavioral change and reductions in consumption are also required. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Towards a feedback system for upper body bodyweight exercises using multiple inertial measurement units : A user-centred approach

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Panagiota Papadopoulou; [2023]
    Nyckelord :IMU sensors; bodyweight training; machine learning; real-time feedback; push-ups; tricep dips; plank;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the feasibility of developing an affordable and easy-to-use feed- back system that leverages information from multiple inertial measurement units (IMUs) to identify mistakes during upper body bodyweight training and provide real-time feedback to the user. To develop the system, a human-centered approach was used, which involved conducting semi-structured interviews with movement ex- perts and a workshop with targeted end-users to understand their needs. 4. 4. Co-design workshops om stigmatiserade ämnen : Designförslag för att undvika ytterligare stigmatisering

    Kandidat-uppsats,

    Författare :Sofia Strand; Felicia Oredsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Co-design; co-design workshop; stigma; taboo;

    Sammanfattning : Co-design workshops (CDW) kan förbättra idégenereringen i designprocessen. CDW grundar sig i att människor ska arbeta tillsammans i realtid men vid forskning om stigmatiserade ämnen kan det vara svårt att genomföra den öga mot öga på grund av stigman. LÄS MER

  5. 5. A framework for the implementation of real-time location systems in material handling : A case study at Scandia Transmission

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Gladis Mauri; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Real-time location systems (RTLS) have been applied on material handling to provide positioning and tracking in a warehouse of forklifts and other mobile entities, such as AGVs (automated guided vehicles). The purpose of this research is to develop a structured analysis to evaluate the impacts, potential benefits and challenges for implementing a real-time location system in the material handling for automotive industry, as well as a recommendation of preparation steps to the companies when integrating RTLS into their production systems, seeing that has a significant potential to improve efficiency.
