    Sammanfattning : Our study aimed to, through a qualitative content analysis, understand how violence manifests among young women aged 16-25 in their romantic relationships, as well as how violence affects their social lives. By listening to six podcasts, watching three short film clips, and reading three written texts, we have gained insights into personal stories from young women's own experiences of violence in close relationships.     Sammanfattning : In this study, the Swedish version of the reality-TV show Farmer Wants a Wife is analyzed from an MCDA perspective and method, using theories relating to heteronormativity, romantic relationships, and love. The aim of the study is to discover the connections between societal norms, values, and the text and visual material of the show in order to analyze the reproductions of constructs within the discourse surrounding love and romantic relationships.     Sammanfattning : På senare tid har det funnits ett ökat fokus på att studera känslornas historia, även om detta inte alltid har varit fallet för historiker. Idén till uppsatsen formades under arbetet som kommunal arkivarie när jag stötte på en sällsynt upptäckt i arkiven - en samling av omkring två hundra kärleksbrev som utväxlats mellan Artur och Margit, ett ungt par, före och under andra världskriget.
