   Sammanfattning : Abstract The pupose of the study was to increase knowledge about how anthropomorphism can support preschool children´s learning about the developmentstages of the butterfly in a teaching situation with anthropomorphic children´s literature, investigative booktalk and concrete material. To answer the purpose, questions were needed that povided answers to what kind of learning that occurred in relation to the prior knowledge and how the children´s learning was characterized in their retelling.
