    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study has been to examine whether Rohrschneider and Schmitt-Beck’s (2002) theory about institutional trust can explain peoples' trust in the Swedish states and government agencies work during the corona pandemic. The theory consists of three factorsthat build institutional trust: the state’s performance, correspondence between the individual’s political values and those of the government, as well as the individual's social capital.
