Tiene el propósito de averiguar hasta qué punto las traducciones diversas muestran semejanza con los originales y si hay patrones de traducción específicos para cada lengua meta escogida, y lo hace contestando las preguntas de investigación enfocándose en la métrica, la rima y la semántica.
