    Sammanfattning : Through a netnographic qualitative research, an incel forum is analyzed in this study using a thematic analysis to investigate users on the incel forum and their views on sexual and violent crime. By using Sykes and Matza's (1957) techniques of neutralization, this study shows how the users on the forum may justify their positive views on violent and sexual crime. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study has been to investigate how men who identify as incels describe their situation and their experiences and to investigate their perceptions and thoughts regarding digital incel forums. The study is based on a qualitative content analysis, where 13 interviews with incels from the american podcast Incel have been analyzed through Connells theory of masculinity, Goffmans theory of stigma and the social identity theory, as well as previous research about incels.
