   Sammanfattning : Syftet med uppsatsen är dels att beskriva hur själavården varit organiserad inom Sveriges Försvarsmakt under tiden1892-2008, dels att beskriva fältandaktsböcker under denna period utifrån vad de innehåller och vem de vänder sig tilloch om de förändrats över tid. Metoden som har använts är 1) litteraturstudier av den militära själavårdens historia och beskriva dess organisationmed tonvikt på perioden 1892-2008 och 2) en komparativ studie av tre olika fältandaktsböcker, vad gäller innehåll ochvem boken vänder sig till.
