  1. 21. Quantification of DNA Microballs Using Image Processing Techniques

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Industriell bioteknologi

    Författare :Yosef Werede Tedros; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Spot detection; Deep learning; Image processing; smFISH; Gene editing; CRISPR; Rolling circle amplification; Big-FISH; LodeSTAR; DeepSpot; Detektering av punkter; Djupinlärning; Bildbehandling; smFISH; Genredigering; CRISPR; Rolling circle amplification; Big-FISH; LodeSTAR; DeepSpot;

    Sammanfattning : I detta examensarbete användes olika bildbehandlingstekniker för detektion och kvantifiering av DNA-mikrobollar, mer specifikt rolling circle amplification-produkter, på mikroskopibilder. Avsikten med detta arbete var att hjälpa Countagen AB utforska pipelines för bildbehandling för sin produkt där de analyserar utfallet av genredigeringsförsök på ett billigare och snabbare sätt än dagens konventionella sekvenseringsmetoder. Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Luciano Zapata; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Text classification; Short texts; Deep Learning; BERT; GPT; GPT-2; Transformers; Natural Language Processing; Textklassificering; Korta Texter; Djupinlärning; BERT; GPT; GPT-2; Transformatorer; Naturlig språkbehandling;

    Sammanfattning : Text mining has gained considerable attention due to the extensive usage ofelectronic documents. The significant increase in electronic document usagehas created a necessity to process and analyze them effectively. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Cosmic Dust Detection by the Solar Orbiter Using Machine Learning

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutet för rymdfysik, Uppsalaavdelningen

    Författare :Joar Lönngren; Ludwig Tiston; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Machine Learning; Neural Network; Cosmic Dust; Solar Orbiter; Space Physics; Space Dust;

    Sammanfattning : This project aims to investigate neural network systems as an effective tool for the in-space captured dust impact signal detection. Cosmic dust is the nanometre to micrometre fine-sized particles that exist in the interplanetary region. They originate from comets, asteroids, the planets and their moons and rings, or even the interstellar region. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Fault Detection and Diagnosis for Automotive Camera using Unsupervised Learning

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Ziyou Li; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Unsupervised Learning; Autoencoders; Image Clustering; Fault Detection and Diagnosis; Morphological Operations; Hardware-in-Loop; Advanced DriverAssistance System; Oövervakad inlärning; Autoencoders; Bildklustering; Felfindning och Diagnostik; Morfologiska Operationer; Hardware-in-Loop; Avancerade Förarassistanssystem;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to investigate a fault detection and diagnosis system for automotive cameras using unsupervised learning. 1) Can a front-looking wide-angle camera image dataset be created using Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) simulations? 2) Can an Adversarial Autoencoder (AAE) based unsupervised camera fault detection and diagnosis method be crafted for SPA2 Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) using an image dataset created using Hardware-inLoop? 3) Does using AAE surpass the performance of using Variational Autoencoder (VAE) for the unsupervised automotive camera fault diagnosis model? In the field of camera fault studies, automotive cameras stand out for its complex operational context, particularly in Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) applications. LÄS MER
