    Sammanfattning : Platelet-derived growth factor receptors (α and β) are included in the family of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). The dimeric PDGF ligands bind to the PDGF receptors and this results in receptor dimerization, autophosphorylation, and thus activation.
