Mot bakgrund av tidigare forskning om välfärdsteknik och telecare framstår det lokala skriptet för kameratillsyner som disciplinerande av den äldre, då Trygghetskameran används som positioneringsverktyg snarare än som ett medium för social interaktion mellan personal och äldre.
