21. Employee preferences in preparing for a change - A case study of strategic project implementations
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : As market conditions constantly change in today's competitive landscape, businesses must invest in organizational changes to stay relevant. Despite the high frequency of change projects worldwide, multiple sources state that 70% of all change projects fail. LÄS MER
23. Beyond Traditional Tomography: X-ray Multi-projection Imaging for Additive Manufacturing
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to push the limits of 3D X-ray imaging by studying the minimum number of projections required to retrieve high-quality reconstructions for additive manufacturing processes. This project first focuses on understanding how X-ray tomography works, by reconstructing additive manufacturing data already obtained (from PSI, TOMCAT beamline) using two standard reconstruction algorithms, GRIDREC and SIRT. 24. Nowcasting U.S. inflation using mixed frequency real-time data
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistikSammanfattning : Different models were developed with the aim of nowcasting inflation at a daily basis with high frequency variables, while using real-time data to avoid look ahead bias. Both popular machine learning models such as Random Forest and XGBoost, and more traditional models such as UMIDAS and Almon distributed lag models were used to make the nowcasts. LÄS MER
25. Changes in cetacean presence and behavior in response to reduced marine traffic - the effects of a nationwide lockdown
Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i HalmstadSammanfattning : Creating noise-pollution and other disturbances, marine traffic poses a great threat to marine mammals all over the world which may demonstrate through short- and long-term changes in behavior and distribution. The Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 provided a setting to study the effects of marine traffic on cetacean presence and interactive behavior. LÄS MER
