1. Convolution-compacted visiontransformers forprediction of localwall heat flux atmultiple Prandtlnumbers in turbulentchannel flow
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)Sammanfattning : Predicting wall heat flux accurately in wall-bounded turbulent flows is critical for a variety of engineering applications, including thermal management systems and energy-efficient designs. Traditional methods, which rely on expensive numerical simulations, are hampered by increasing complexity and extremly high computation cost. LÄS MER
2. Monitoring of Partial Discharges on Cable Terminations : An experimental approach to evaluate non-conventional online PD measurement techniques
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : The transmission of electric power over long distances has historically posed challenges. However, the advent of high-voltage engineering has not only addressed distance barriers and power losses in electricity transmission and distribution, but it has also significantly improved the efficiency and transmission capacity of power grids. 3. Achieving a Sense of Calm : Soma Design for Better Sleep through Seamless Technologies
4. The influence and impact of Japan to upbringing the human rights norms in Southeast Asia through the world of business
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Juridiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Juridiska fakultetenSammanfattning : Japan’s influence in Southeast Asia has been enormous throughout history, whether in its military occupation, culture, or economic ties, and there is no doubt that Southeast Asia has developed under its influence. Have Southeast Asian states then developed and improved their human rights situation because of Japan? Or has Japan aggravated the situation being “blue washed”, by performing its business activities to be “cooperative”, or to simply make profit? My answer to these questions is that Japan has certainly done a considerable amount of upbringing human rights norms, with afterwar compensation and ODA to help shape the infrastructure of many countries in the region, and this can especially be seen in economic, social and cultural rights. 5. 3D Gaze Estimation on RGB Images using Vision Transformers
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Gaze estimation, a vital component in numerous applications such as humancomputer interaction, virtual reality, and driver monitoring systems, is the process of predicting the direction of an individual’s gaze. The predominant methods for gaze estimation can be broadly classified into intrusive and nonintrusive approaches. LÄS MER
