    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this paper was to examine, through a crisis communication approach, how the UN intergovernmental organization acts during a crisis and whether their strategies are in symbiosis with their core values and conventions. As the majority of crisis communication research is based on governmental or commercial organizations, there is a lack of knowledge in how intergovernmental organizations behave during a crisis.
