    Sammanfattning : The aim of this master’s thesis is to exhibit to what extent municipal archives in southern Sweden work with irradiation and intermediation of the historical material they possess, as well as the reasoning behind these actions. Social and cultural values are also protected and amplified in the project that proposes a mussel farm which serves as a water purifier of Landfjärden, one of many bays in the Baltic Sea that suffers from eutrophication.
