If Gorbachev and Yeltsin succeeded in negating the Soviet Russian past to thus attempt to make possible an integration with the value community of Western civilizations, Putin has conducted a strategy that initially seemed to be aimed at securing global multipolarity and internationally governing principles of Westphalian sovereignty, non-intervention and territorial integrity.     Sammanfattning : This Bachelor Thesis will explore, in a case study, how Christian Indians perceive their daily life situation in relation to the society in India at large, specifically focusing on verbal, written and physical harassment by Hindu nationalists and how this affects their perception of their own identity. Using a qualitative method, based on the hermeneutic-phenomenological tradition, six semi-structured interviews have been held with a focus on, on the one hand, which stereotypes of Christian Indians occur in Indian society, and on the other hand how this affects the identity of the Christian Indians in relation to Indian citizenship, especially under the influence of Hindu nationalists.     Sammanfattning : The dominant narrative of history, prevalent in Sweden, is of a country which has no structural racism and that had no part in the colonization of the Americas or in the transatlantic slave trade. This is far from the truth, and this study connects Sweden’s role in the slave trade and as a country with colonial ambitions, as well as its history of racial biology, with the racialization of non-white bodies.
