The intention is to deepen the knowledge concerning how these processes affect film archives as institutions of memory and film heritage, as well as the role of the film archivist, and different understandings of film as an archival material.    Sammanfattning : The aim of this Master´s thesis is to study how the Swedish bill, "Education for children who are staying in the country without authorization", constructs a relationship between legal versus illegal status, and how this relationship affects undocumented children’s integrity in relation to the principle of public access to official records (“Offentlighetsprincipen”). The main hypothesis is that the principle of public access to official records affects the information listed in public documents, since operators are aware that the data can potentially be accessed by an outside authority.
