    Sammanfattning : This essay uses Pierre Bourdieus habitus, symbolic capital, Social fields, Stuart Halls representation theory and Encoding/Decoding system, as well as Henry Jenkins concept of convergence culture and media convergence, to conduct a reception study of Denis Villeneuves 2021 adaption of the science fiction movie Dune. The material collected for the reception study is collected in the form of reviews and features from experts in cinema, juxtaposed against material collected from YouTube in the form of reviews, reaction videos and video essays from social groups sectioned around cinephiles and science fiction fandom.     Sammanfattning : AbstractHigh-Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering (HIPIMS) of TiO2 thin films enhances their photocatalyticproperties compared to the films prepared by standard sputtering methods, especially when no substrateheating is employed. With no heating, the coatings present an amorphous structure that benefits from theionization of the sputtered flux granted by HiPIMS, with respect to their photocatalytic performance. LÄS MER

This thesis investigates its occurrence across three media to establish how the gated community mode of living, as rendered in post-apocalyptic speculative fiction, responds to the threat and consequences of climate and environmental crisis.
