  1. 1. Analyzing the performance of active learning strategies on machine learning problems

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Avdelningen för systemteknik

    Författare :Vendela Werner; [2023]
    Nyckelord :computer science; bioinformatics; machine learning; active learning; artificial intelligence; supervised learning; Astrazeneca; maskininlärning; artificiell intelligens; datorvetenskap; active learning; bioinformatik; supervised learning;

    Sammanfattning : Digitalisation within industries is rapidly advancing and data possibilities are growing daily. Machine learning models need a large amount of data that are well-annotated for good performance. To get well-annotated data, an expert is needed, which is expensive, and the annotation itself could be very time-consuming. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Digital Front End Algorithms for Sub-Band Full Duplex

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Midhat Rizvi; Khaled Al-Khateeb; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio; Bit Error Rate; Clipping and Filtering; Crest Factor Reduction; Digital front end; Digital Pre-Distortion Error Vector Magnitude; Frequency Division Duplex; Power Amplifier; Peak to Average Power Ratio; Peak Cancellation Crest Factor Reduction; Sub Band Full Duplex; Self-Interference Cancellation; Signal-to-Interference Noise Ratio; Signal-to-Noise Ratio; Turbo Clipping; Time Division Duplex; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Sub-band full duplex is a new communication scheme technology, where a single frequency band is partitioned into sub-bands for downlink (DL) and up-link(UL) transmissions, and both can take place simultaneously. The idea behind the sub-band full duplex development is to improve the throughput, and coverage and reduce the latency of the UL communication by allowing the UL reception during the DL transmission. 3. 3. Continuous Integration for Embedded Software with Modular Firmware Architecture

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Fabian Segatz; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Continuous integration; Embedded software development; Modular firmware architecture; Jenkins; Software quality; Kontinuerlig integration; Inbyggd programvaruutveckling; Modulär fastvara arkitektur; Jenkins; Programvarukvalitet;

    Sammanfattning : Continuous Integration (CI) techniques are widely adopted in web and application development but have received limited attention in the embedded software domain. This thesis investigates the application of CI techniques in embedded software development through a case study at Cobolt AB, a company specializing in optoelectronics. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Model Predictive Urea Dosing Control Strategy for Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicles

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Mathias Schmekel; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Model predictive control; Selective catalytic reduction; Nitrogen oxides; Modell-prediktiv reglering; Selektiv katalytisk reduktion; Kväveoxider;

    Sammanfattning : Stricter requirements on the reduction of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) in the emissions of heavy-duty diesel vehicles drives development for more efficient aftertreatment systems. An ammonia covered catalyst is one of the most successful technologies in reducing NOx by converting it into the harmless byproducts water and nitrogen. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Less is More or More Is More? A Qualitative Study on EFL Teachers' Views and Preferences Regarding Comprehensive and Selective Feedback

    Kandidat-uppsats,

    Författare :Oscar Svärd; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : There are decades of research on teachers’ views on the topic of comprehensive and selective feedback, but there is a large gap in said research regarding Swedish upper secondary school teachers. This study is an attempt to start to bridge that gap by interviewing five upper secondary school English teachers about their beliefs and views regarding both the subject of comprehensiveness, as well as their more general feedback views.
