    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to quantify the consequences of a fire in Kalmar Globals Heavy Electric Forklifts and Electric Reachstackers as well as what actions can be taken to reduce the effects of an ongoing fire and what preventing measures can be made by Kalmar Globals customers to create a safe environment and reduce the probability of a fire breaking out.     Sammanfattning : Indoor Air Pollution (IAP) resulting from indoor burning of solid biomass fuels in poorly ventilated kitchens is a severe health risk in parts of the world where energy poverty is prevalent. Passive ventilation, i.e. taking advantage of naturally induced airflow has been suggested as crucial in reducing IAP levels below safe limits. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Reduced weight and maintenance make it advantageous to replace steel with Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites in maritime applications, but being combustible makes fire safety a burning issue. The fire scenarios that are considered to be dimensioning to the evacuation situation are: display case fire at a trade fair in the main entrance stage fire at a concert in the arena storage fire in the enclosure Inlastningen Calculations and simulations are carried out to determine if critical conditions will come up before the occupants have been safely evacuated.
