  1. 1. Analyzing the Effects of Virtualization on Cloud Platform Performance

    Kandidat-uppsats, Mittuniversitetet/Institutionen för data- och elektroteknik (2023-)

    Författare :Gaylord Kaya; [2024]
    Nyckelord :hypervisor; container; virtualization; cloud computing; hypervisor; container; virtualization; cloud computing;

    Sammanfattning : Denna avhandling utforskar den komplexa interaktionen mellan virtualiseringstekniker och prestanda för molnapplikationer. Genom att utvärdera hypervisor- och containerbaserade metoder skapar vi en teoretisk grund för att förstå rollen för virtualisering i modern molnbaserad miljö. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Dynamic Risk Management in Air Traffic Management System Failures

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Riskhantering och Samhällssäkerhet

    Författare :Nick Lowth; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Air Traffic Control; Uncertainty; Risk Management; Air Traffic Management; Resilience; Emergence; Trade-offs; FLMU06; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Context This research looks at managing uncertainty and recovery processes following failure of a sociotechnical system. The provision of Air Traffic Services (ATS) is an essential service that must continue to function supporting at a minimum; medical flights, search and rescue operations, humanitarian aid, State and military flights (as demonstrated during the recent global pandemic). 3. 3. Early-Stage Validation of Autonomous Vehicles in Ambiguous Environments : A Systems-Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA) of an Autonomous Military Defense Industry Vehicle

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Fordonssystem

    Författare :Maria Axelsson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :STPA; System Safety; AFRY; Milrem Robotics; Safety Analysis; Autonomous Vehicles; Control Structure; Control Model; NGV; THeMIS; themis; THEMIS;

    Sammanfattning : This report delves into the early developmental phase of an autonomous vehicle designed for defense applications. Navigating diverse terrains, this unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) poses unique challenges, particularly in the absence of clearly defined directives found in typical traffic scenarios. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Information requirements for future operators of autonomous drones at airports

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Jonathan Källbäcker; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Autonomous drones; airports; cognitive work analysis; thematic analysis; interface requirements; information requirements.;

    Sammanfattning : To gain an understanding about what information requirements there are for future operators of autonomous drone swarms at airport, this study examined how work at airports is structured today, what staff at airports think about the potential implementation of autonomous drones, and what potential interface components that are necessary to be able to control these drones. Interviews and observations were made at five different airports and air traffic control towers with tower and ground staff. LÄS MER

  5. 5. A New Approach for Positioning Human Body Models Utilising the 3D-Graphics Program Blender

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Jesper Eiderbäck; Felix Jahnke; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Human Body Model; HBM; positioning; THUMS; Blender; Radial basis function.; Mänsklig kroppsmodel; HBM; positionering; THUMS; Blender; Radiell Basfunktion;

    Sammanfattning : A finite element human body model (FE HBM) is a detailed virtual model of the human body that, for example, is used for simulating traffic accidents. A problem with HBMs is that there is no simple way to position the HBMs in non-standard positions. LÄS MER
