1. Reprocessing and Characterization of Polybenzimidazole for High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntesSammanfattning : A reprocessing method of poly(2,2’-(m-phenylene)-5,5’-bibenzimidazole) (PBI) membranes recovered from the production line of High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (HT-PEMFC) at Blue World Technologies (BWT) has been developed in order to reduce material loss in the production. Redissolution of scrap PBI membranes in poly(phosphoric acid) (PPA) and phosphoric acid (PA) was successful and the subsequent washing procedure produced PBI that could be redissolved in N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc) and suitable for solution casting of new membranes. 2. Developing an Environmentally Friendly Approach for Ash Removal in Hard Carbon Anodes
Master-uppsats, KTH/MaterialvetenskapSammanfattning : Hard carbon is regarded as one of the most promising anode materials for sodium-ion battery. However, the ash content of the hard carbon anode inherited from the precursor have several negative impacts on the electrochemical performance of hard carbon. LÄS MER
3. Purification of Engineered Graphite for Advanced Application
Master-uppsats, KTH/MaterialvetenskapSammanfattning : Graphite has important applications in several key industries, which has been listed as a “criticalraw material” considered to be supply-risk by European since 2020. Purification of engineered graphite is one of the essential processes for the manufacturing of high-quality graphite. LÄS MER
4. Energieffektivisering av membranluftrengöring vid högflödesperioder : Studie på en storskalig MBR-pilot på Syvab Himmerfjärdsverket i samarbete med SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions
Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitetSammanfattning : Membrane BioReactor (MBR) is a wastewater treatment method which combine both biological and physical cleaning. In the membrane tank there is membrane fibres which physically separate wastewater from containing organic material. This causes the membrane fibres to easily build fouling. LÄS MER
5. Evaluation of using bioplastics for lab consumables
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för materialvetenskapSammanfattning : The use of plastic has increased markedly in recent years which has led to more fossil fuels being used and more plastic in nature. This is a literature study that researches on how bio- based plastics can be used instead of plastics made from fossil fuels. LÄS MER
