Studies such as Zawadzka-Paluektau (2022) have found that in other European news media large differences in the presentation of European and non-European refugees can be observed.     Sammanfattning : With the growing number of migrants, could a populist migrant party succeed in Sweden just like the party Denk in the Netherlands? By applying Akkermans populism scale and the immigrant hypothesis this study strives to begin to answer this question by looking into one of the country’s largest migrant populations: Arab-Swedes. Through a survey (N=333) three aspects are measured (1) How populist are Arab-Swedes? (2) How is their populism expressed? (3) Is there a vacuum in Swedish politics that these attitudes can fill? This study finds that Arab-Swedes are indeed more populist than the average Swedish population, but less than the average eastern and southern European. LÄS MER
