26. Evaluation of water stress mapping methods in vineyards using airborne thermal imaging
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : With low cost and high efficiency, use of airborne infrared thermography imaging from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has become a widely used technique to measure plant water stress. With that, the use of UAV mounted thermal camera as a precision agriculture technique to map crop water stress is not trivial and its success is depended on variety of factors which are still needed to be studied and understood. 27. Method development for the analysis of PFAS and neutral precursors in active and passive air samplers
Master-uppsats, Örebro universitet/Institutionen för naturvetenskap och teknikSammanfattning : Poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a chemical class of global concern because of their persistence, toxicity and widespread presence in the environment. This work aimed to develop a robust and reliable method to analyse perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS), perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), as well as the neutral volatile PFOS precursors, namely perfluorooctane sulfonamides and perfluorooctane sulfonamidoethanols (FOSAs/FOSEs). 28. Sustainable Drainage Systems Assessment and Optimisation-A case study for Lussebäcken Catchment, Helsingborg
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Teknisk vattenresursläraSammanfattning : Increase of urbanization and climate change are one of the factors that have been highlighted to influence hydrography. This is resulting in an increase in peak flow within an urban watershed. Downstream flooding and increased pollution are the problems that arises. LÄS MER
29. Snow insulation effects across the Arctic : evaluating a revised snow module in LPJ-GUESS
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : The effect of future changes in temperature and precipitation patterns on arctic ecosystem functioning is often assessed using state-of-the-art ecosystem models. Many models however lack detailed representation of wintertime processes, as pointed out by recent studies (Wang et al. 2016, Slater and Lawrence 2013). LÄS MER
30. Energy balance closure, water balance, carbon exchange, and water use efficiency : observed and modeled outcomes for a managed, hemiboreal forest in Southern Sweden
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : The claims for the potential of boreal and sub-boreal forests to combat negative effects of climate change have been substantial with over half of Earth’s primary forests found within boreal and temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Given the likely occurrence of more extreme climate events in the future, ascertaining a better understanding of how climate effects, such as profound fluctuations in precipitation, decreases in yearly snow, faster snow melt rates, variability in evapotranspiration due to environmental stress, and related changes in the energy, hydrological, and carbon cycles will change these northern, boreal landscapes is crucial.
