  1. 1. Modelling the Water Table in a Bog

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Tobias Bowley; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Over the past five years, an ongoing study at INES, Lund University, have examined the encroachment of trees and vegetation into a bog ecosystem in northern Scania, Sweden. While several factors have been identified as contributing to this ecological transformation, including, nutrient availability, and climate, the hydrological aspect remains a key area of investigation. 2. 2. Flexible Sector Coupling (FSC) of Electrical and Thermal Sectors via Thermal Energy Storage (TES) : A Case Study on Oskarshamn Energi

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Raúl Calvo García; Jose María Marín Arcos; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Flexible sector coupling FSC ; district heating DH ; thermal energy storage TES ; heat pump HP ; capacity optimization; dispatch optimization; open-access tools; Flexibel sektorkoppling; fjärrvärme; termisk energilagring; värmepump; kapacitetsoptimering; leveransoptimering; verktyg med öppen tillgång;

    Sammanfattning : The integration of distributed energy sources and systems is of high relevance for the transition towards a more sustainable energy system. Taking into consideration the  amount of emissions produced by the heating sector, which account for at least half of the energy demand in buildings, district heating systems have the potential to play a key role in the transition, by enabling the integration of various energy sources and provide flexible energy services to the grid. 3. 3. Dynamic Warning Signals and Time Lag Analysis for Seepage Prediction in Hydropower Dams : A Case Study of a Swedish Hydropower Plant

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Datalogi

    Författare :Lovisa Olsson; Julia Hellström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :hydropower; dam safety; dam monitoring; seepage; prediction models; data-driven methods; artificial intelligence; AI;  linear regression; Support Vector Regression; SVR; Long Short-Term Memory; LSTM;

    Sammanfattning : Hydropower is an important energy source since it is fossil-free, renewable, and controllable. Characteristics that become especially important as the reliance on intermittent energy sources increases. However, the dams for the hydropower plants are also associated with large risks as a dam failure could have fatal consequences. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Influence of Automatically Constructed Non-Equivalent Mutants on Predictions of Metamorphic Relations

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Johan Götborg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Balances scorecard; Data augmentation; Machine learning; Metamorphic testing; MuJava; Mutation testing;

    Sammanfattning : Behovet av tillförlitliga, motståndskraftiga, och beständiga system är uppenbart i vårt samhälle, som i ökande grad blir allt mer beroende av mjukvarulösningar. För att uppnå tillfredsställande nivåer av säkerhet och robusthet måste alla system kontinuerligt genomgå tester. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Deep Learning for Predicting Electrical Power in 5G

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Robert Mellberg; [2022]
    Nyckelord :5G; Deep learning; Machine learning; Predictions; Electrical power; 5G; Djupinlärning; Maskininlärning; Förutsägelser; Elektrisk effekt;

    Sammanfattning : 5G is currently being implemented around the world. A way to save resources in 5G could be to have several sector carriers sharing one power source. This requires being able to predict the electrical power of the sector carriers to make sure they do not exceed the capability of the power source. LÄS MER
