    Sammanfattning : At the end of his life Husserl writes about Greece as the birthplace of spiritual Europe. Since many of us are critical of the Occident’s footprint in the world, with driven lust for power, materialism and egoism, the question arises of a search for the foundations of ancient Greek culture. 2. 2. Syndabock eller syndare?

    Författare :Desirée Lind; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Jezebel; feminist; intersectional; historical; Israel; Kings; Deuteronomy; Deuteronomistic; Philosophy and Religion;

    Sammanfattning : Jezebel (in this essay, Isebel) is often described as the evillest woman in the Bible and has for many reasons become a favourite in feminist exegesis. In this thesis, I put Jezebel in her context: historical, religious, social, political, and try to discern the following aspects: • How is Isebel as a character depicted in the Bible? • Why is she depicted in this way? • What can we know about Isebel as a historical person and how do we know? Sammanfattning : In this essay I argue that the christian doctrine of deification (theosis) is a valuable foundation for teaching the Roman Catholic faith. By examining the very rich dogmatic essays by german theologian Karl Rahner on the the assumption of the Virgin Mary as well as the Immaculate conception I explore, firstly, if the doctrine seem to be present in Rahners thought and, secondly, if it seem to be useful for explaining and bringing clarity to various beliefs of the Roman Catholic church. Sammanfattning : What is morality’s place within realist theories of international politics? Often realism is disregarded for having little to offer on the matter. Whilst recent research suggests this is something of a misconception, seldom have realists themselves been asked if and where any moral philosophy belongs inside their perspectives, respectively, on world politics. 5. 5. Genesis 38: Tamars berättelse, i en mansdominerad värld.

    Nyckelord :: Tamar; Genesis 38; Jahve’s providence; The Tamar story; feminist perspective; Judah; levirate; cultic; date palm; blessed; Josef story.; Philosophy and Religion;

    Sammanfattning : Is it possible that Genesis 38 is a story about an ancient woman? And should Genesis 38 be called The Story of Tamar? Numerous signals in Gen 38 point to Tamar being the main character of the story. Nevertheless, throughout history, the story has been said to be about Judah and his transformation from a mean and selfish character in Gen 37 to a caring and selfless one in Gen 43:8–10. LÄS MER
