  1. 1. Beyond Traditional Tomography: X-ray Multi-projection Imaging for Additive Manufacturing

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Maria Esther Vilar Alvarez; [2023]
    Nyckelord :X-ray tomography; X-ray multiprojection-imaging; deep learning; additive manufacturing; synchrotron radiation; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to push the limits of 3D X-ray imaging by studying the minimum number of projections required to retrieve high-quality reconstructions for additive manufacturing processes. This project first focuses on understanding how X-ray tomography works, by reconstructing additive manufacturing data already obtained (from PSI, TOMCAT beamline) using two standard reconstruction algorithms, GRIDREC and SIRT. Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för maskinteknik

    Författare :Mattias Ghanem; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Lean; Process Engineering; Digitalization; Projection Welded Elements; Industry 4.0;

    Sammanfattning :   Background This research study is in collaboration with the Blekinge Institute of Technology and Volvo Cars Body Components (VCBC). VCBC is a car manufacturer that manufactures car body components in Olofström, Sweden. LÄS MER

  3. 3. A Scoping Review for the Parameters of Crowd Movement

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

    Författare :Andreas Hansen; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Crowd movement; scoping review; evacuation; age; body projection area; bottlenecks; openings; culture; occupant density; emergency or non-emergency; emotional state; fatigue; fitness; gender; group size; headway; health status; height; lateral sway; personal space; social relations; stair gradient; step frequency; step size; vision; weight; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Existing models which describe crowd movement are running out of time and are failing to take the change of people’s characteristics into account. The purpose of this study is to determine the “state-of- the-art” regarding the research within the field of crowd movement and identify parameters that influence crowd movement. LÄS MER
