   Sammanfattning : Anita  (Torgny Wickman 1973) is a typical example of a film produced as part of a wave of Swedish softcore sex films created with an eye on the substantial overseas profits to be made in market curious to witness onscreen Swedish Sin.  Following an extremely brief and limited release in Sweden the film disappeared from popular cultural perception until resurfacing in the late 1990s as an object of nostalgic cult curiosity.    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to study the structures and contents of art paraphrases during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic through semiotics, intertextuality and intermediality, to create an understanding of what the reuse, or appropriation, of art can mean and which roles it could play in a contemporary visual culture. To achieve this, six “Covid paraphrases” are analysed alongside a rich complementary material collected from November 2021—February 2023 through netnographic methods focused on the social media platform Instagram.    Sammanfattning : This essay aims to examine which consequences a less-detail controlled curriculum has on English teachers’ choice of English-language literature. With support from the literature review, this essay argues that an unofficial, tacit school canon of English-language literature mainly composed of ten literary works seems to have been established in Swedish upper-secondary schools, despite the Swedish National Curriculum not naming specific literary works educators in Sweden are required to use in their teaching.
