    Sammanfattning : This is the report of the development of a program written in MATLAB to study the propagation of sound waves using Smit’s ray tracing algorithm. The final program is able to use the data from vectorized maps to build a three-dimensional landscape and calculate the reflections at each interception point when a ray emitted from the source hits the surface of an obstacle.
