  1. 1. MetaStackVis: Visually-Assisted Performance Evaluation of Metamodels in Stacking Ensemble Learning

    Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för datavetenskap och medieteknik (DM)

    Författare :Ilya Ploshchik; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Visualization; interaction; metamodels; validation metrics; predicted probabilities; stacking; stacked generalization; ensemble learning; machine learning;

    Sammanfattning : Stacking, also known as stacked generalization, is a method of ensemble learning where multiple base models are trained on the same dataset, and their predictions are used as input for one or more metamodels in an extra layer. This technique can lead to improved performance compared to single layer ensembles, but often requires a time-consuming trial-and-error process. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Interactive Visualization of Network Models in JavaScript/TypeScript for Web-based Applications

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysik

    Författare :Morrow Erik; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Networks; Information visualization; Information Theory; Interactive visualization; Nätverk; Informationsvisualisering; Informationsteori; Interaktiv visualisering;

    Sammanfattning : Networks of nodes and links are powerful tools to model complex systems, however, when the number of nodes and links grows to the thousands then even the network becomes too complex to comprehend unless we can simplify and highlight the networks underlying structure. The map equation is a method developed by the researchers at IntegratedScience Lab that uses an information theoretic approach to reveal community structure using the flow of information on the network modeled with random walks. 3. 3. Visions of Couture : Designing an Interactive System for Fashion

    Magister-uppsats, Malmö universitet/Institutionen för konst, kultur och kommunikation (K3)

    Författare :Gianmarco Gradellini; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Interaction Design; Gesture Interaction; Embodied Interaction; Holography; Holographic illusions; Fashion; Couture;

    Sammanfattning : Visions of Couture is a project that explores the relationship between high fashion and technology. The aim of this work was to incorporate interactivity in a context, namely fashion, that has always been a pioneer in research and innovation but where interactive artefacts have so far had quite a marginal role. 4. 4. Väderdata : Interaktiv visualisering av väderdata

    M1-uppsats, Mittuniversitetet/Institutionen för data- och elektroteknik (2023-)

    Författare :Hanna Lindholm; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Väderdata; API; ASP .NET Core; ramverk;

    Sammanfattning : The goal of this work has been to create an interactive visualization of weather data for the company Biometria. The weather data has been collected over a period of 2 years using a measuring device placed in a forest cabin. The forest cabin has been moved to different logging sites, and continuously sent measurement results. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Encouraging Recycling in Co-living : A Redesigning of Sorting Bins

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Eugene Chan; Avinash Kumar Karuppasamy; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Co-living; Student Household; Sustainable Behavior; Collective Responsibility; Individualistic Responsibility; User Experience; Nudging; Product Service System; Sorting Bins; Waste Management; Recycling; Sorting; Co-living; Studentbostad; Studentbostäder; Hållbart beteende; Kollektivt ansvar; Individualistiskt ansvar; Användarupplevelse; Puffning; Produktservicesystem; Sorteringskärl; Avfallshantering; Återvinning; Källsortering;

    Sammanfattning : There is an inefficiency of waste management in co-living spaces for students, emphasizing the importance of proper waste sorting. A multifaceted research methodology was initiated with a literature review to understand existing waste management solutions and how they work as a system, followed by attribute studies pivotal for co-living spaces.
