   Sammanfattning : En fredsprocess i Syrien måste garantera trygghet och säkerhet för alla, vilket inte minst inne-bär att ta i beaktande de särskilda säkerhetshot som kvinnor står inför i egenskap av att vara kvinnor. Denna undersökning kommer att granska FNs säkerhetsråds resolutioner och Action Group for Syrias och International Syria Support Groups fredsplaner från 2015 och 2016 som har till syfte att skapa fred i Syrien, för att se om och i så fall på vilket sätt som den förmed-lade diskursen uttrycker en statscentrerad säkerhetssyn som marginaliserar syriska kvinnors säkerhetsbehov.    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this paper is to analyze the motives of emerging global powers in decision-making processes concerned with humanitarian crises, and whether the principle of “Responsibility to Protect” has influenced the decisions of GIBSA in UNresolutions concerned with the Syrian Crisis. GIBSA is an unofficial group comprised of Germany, India, Brazil and South Africa, who were part of the UNSC during 2011- 2012 (Brazil 2010-2011), and strive to gain UNSC permanent membership. LÄS MER
