26. Parametric Studies of Train-Track-Bridge Interaction : An evaluation of the dynamic amplification due to track irregularities for freight transport
Master-uppsats, KTH/Bro- och stålbyggnadSammanfattning : In this thesis a train-track-bridge interaction (TTBI) model is developed in order to study the dynamic amplification from track irregularities on railway bridges traversed by freight trains. These simulations are of great importance since rail freight transport is expected to increase in order to meet the climate goals. LÄS MER
27. Urban infrastructure inundation risk from permanent sea-level rise scenarios in London (UK), Bangkok (Thailand) and Mumbai (India): A comparative analysis
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Due to anthropogenically created climate change, global cities are facing inundation by rising sea levels. This study aimed to fill knowledge gaps in understanding the exposure of urban infrastructure such as roads, railways, buildings and parks to sea-level rise (SLR) scenarios, and how this would affect local populations. 28.
29. Design of flow guiding parts through CFD topology optimisation
Master-uppsats, KTH/FordonsdynamikSammanfattning : Scania works continuously to develop internal combustion engines and after treatment systems which can achieve low pollutant emissions and high efficiency. A major principal that Scania adopted for this goal is the Simulation Driven Development (SDD) process. LÄS MER
30. Statistical Credit Rating with Survival Regression & Gradient Boosting
Master-uppsats, KTH/Optimeringslära och systemteoriSammanfattning : This thesis concerns the application of statistical modelling of credit risk in corporate borrowers using historical loan data from the Swedish export credit agency Exportkreditnämnden (EKN). Survival Regression in general and the Cox Proportional Hazard (CoxPH) model in particular is presented as a framework applicable to corpoate default and better suited than classification for modeling the binary default outcome of risk exposure data with inconsistent exposure times.
