26. Feeding the hungry or feeding dependency?
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Ekonomisk-historiska institutionenSammanfattning : Is food aid a catalyst for recovery following external shocks? 28. Integration of food shelf-life in life cycle assessment of polymers
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/FörpackningslogistikSammanfattning : Biopolymers are being considered as a promising alternative to fossil-based polymers and this inclination towards biopolymers is due to their lower environmental impact owing to their origin from renewable resources. The environmental impact assessment, however, often does not consider the impact of barrier properties of polymers and the resulting differences in food waste generated in the supply chain. LÄS MER

30. The impact of rainwater harvesting and fertilizer micro-dosing on farm and household sustainability in rural Tanzania
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of EconomicsSammanfattning : Food insecurity and poverty are of major concern for farmers in Tanzania, and the technologies rainwater harvesting coupled with fertilizer micro-dosing promise to aid in easing these burdens, particularly in a water-limited context.
