  1. 16. Carbon capture in biomass combustion plants using promoted potassium carbonate solutions : A cost and safety evaluation

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Mittuniversitetet/Institutionen för kemiteknik

    Författare :Håkan Bergman; [2022]
    Nyckelord :BECCS; carbon dioxide; potassium carbonate; bioenergy carbon capture and storage; promoter; BECSS; Koldioxidinfångning;

    Sammanfattning : Biomass combustion can be seen as CO2 neutral, thereby biomass combustion plants can have negative CO2 emissions if retrofitted with post combustion capture (PCC) technology using liquid absorbents. Monoethanolamine (MEA) has been used for carbon capture in coal combustion plants but are not suitable for use in biomass combustion plants due to corrosion and high solvent regeneration cost. 2. 17. Evaluation of Onshore Transportation Methods for Captured CO2 between Facility and Harbour in Stockholm

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Avd.)

    Författare :Emma Johansson; Vilborg Pétursdóttir; [2021]
    Nyckelord :CCS; Economic cost; Transportation; Truck; Pipeline; CCS; Ekonomisk kostnad; Transport; Lastbil; Rörledning;

    Sammanfattning : Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is a method to reduce the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere. Stockholm Exergi is a Stockholm based company with combined heat and power (CHP) plants in various places around the city and are currently investigating the possibilities to implement CCS on their CHP plant Högdalenverket. 3. 18. CO2 Refrigeration withIntegrated Ejectors : Modelling and Field Data Analysis ofTwo Ice Rinks and Two Supermarket Systems

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :SIMON FEHLING; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Vapor Ejector; Liquid Ejector; Field Data Evaluation; Modelling; Refrigeration; CO2; Ice Rink; Supermarket; Heat Recovery; Ångejektor; Vätskeejektor; Fältmätdata; Modellering; Kylteknik; CO2; Isbana; Livsmedelsbutik; Värmeåtervinning;

    Sammanfattning : With the increasing importance of CO2 as natural refrigerant with low Global Warming Potential(GWP) ejectors have been used in a number of recent installations to recover expansion work atthe high operating pressures of these systems. In colder climates, this is particularly seen in combinationwith heat recovery due to the high compressor discharge pressures. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction in the Heavy-Duty Transport Sector - A Case Study of Renewable Energy Carriers in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Karolina André; William Degerstedt; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Battery electric vehicle; Biofuels; Greenhouse gas; Heavy-duty vehicles; LCA; Renewable energy carriers; Renewable fuels; TCO; Transport sector; Well-to-wheel; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Den svenska transportsektorn står för ungefär en tredjedel av landets totala utsläpp av växthusgaser och släppte 2019 ut 16,4 Mt CO2-ekvivalenter. Av dessa står den tunga vägtrafiken för cirka 20 % och är efter passagerarfordonen den största källan till utsläpp av växthusgaser inom sektorn. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Liquid Natural Gas : A study of the environmental impact of LNG in comparison to diesel

    M1-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Sjöfartshögskolan (SJÖ)

    Författare :Jonas Edfors; Robin Bremberg; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Methane; LNG; Engine; Marine; Mole; Methane Slip; Ship; CO2; CH4; Emission; IMO; Exhaust gas; Environment; Propulsion; Heavy Fuel Oil; Ultra Low Fuel Oil; Diesel; Marine Diesel Oil; ECA; SECA; NECA; IMO; g kWh; EEDI; LSFO; Metan; LNG; Motor; Mol; Skepp; Miljö; Miljövänligt; Tjockolja; Diesel; Marine Diesel; Avgas; CO2; CH4; ECA; SECA; NECA; IMO; g kWh; EEDI; LSFO;

    Sammanfattning : Liquefied Natural Gases (LNG) has been an alternative fuel in the marine industry for several years, but lately, the amount of ships that have been powered by methane has increased a lot. Some of the reasons for this is because LNG does not contain any sulfur and releases less nitrogen oxides than traditional maritime fuels. LÄS MER
