  1. 1. "Vad är det här? Vi jobbar ju med mjuka värden" - En kvalitativ studie av uppfattningar om HR analytics i praktiken

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Sociologiska institutionen

    Författare :Louise Andersson; Ellen Brobeck; [2024]
    Nyckelord :HR analytics; digitalisering; legitimitet; strategisk partner; institutionell teori; evidensbaserade metoder; digitization; legitimacy; strategic partner; institutional theory; evidence-based methods; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of the study is to analyze how HR analysts understand their prerequisites for using HR analytics in a way that is perceived as legitimate. Today, there are expectations on HR to become a function that uses digital tools to analyze personnel key figures. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Greening the grid of Indonesia - Second life application for Lithium-Ion Electric Vehicle batteries in Indonesia’s Energy System

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Innovation

    Författare :Felix Kruse; Paula Runsten; [2023]
    Nyckelord :electrification; battery repurposing; renewable energy; net-zero emissions; energy storage systems; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : With the increasing energy demand from urban electrification, the growing economy and global warming, Indonesia has some extensive challenges ahead. Additionally, growing demand for Li-ion batteries is causing shortages of virgin battery minerals in parallel with the increasing demand for energy storage to accommodate electrification. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Investigating self-discharge in a graphite dual-ion cell using in-situ Raman spectroscopy.

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Strukturkemi

    Författare :Ismail Yussuf Hassan; [2023]
    Nyckelord :graphite; dual-ion battery; parasitic reaction; cathode-electrolyte interface; anion intercalation; concentrated electrolyte; self-discharge; Raman spectroscopy;

    Sammanfattning : Anion intercalation in the graphite positive electrode of a dual-ion battery requires high potential (> 4.3 V vs Li+/Li), which aggravates parasitic reactions involving electrolyte decomposition and Al corrosion, manifesting in poor coulombic efficiency, cycle life, and quick self-discharge. 4. 4. A Conjugate Residual Solver with Kernel Fusion for massive MIMO Detection

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Centrum för forskning om tillämpade intelligenta system (CAISR)

    Författare :Ioannis Broumas; [2023]
    Nyckelord :MIMO; massive MIMO; GPU; CUDA; Software Defined Radio; SDR; MMSE; ZF; zero-forcing; parallel detection; iterative methods; conjugate residual; parallel computing; kernel fusion;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a comparison of a GPU implementation of the Conjugate Residual method as a sequence of generic library kernels against implementations ofthe method with custom kernels to expose the performance gains of a keyoptimization strategy, kernel fusion, for memory-bound operations which is to makeefficient reuse of the processed data. For massive MIMO the iterative solver is to be employed at the linear detection stageto overcome the computational bottleneck of the matrix inversion required in theequalization process, which is 𝒪(𝑛3) for direct solvers. 5. 5. The Effect of Temperature Gradients During Intercritical Annealing of Advanced High Strength Steels : Method Development for Experimental Streamlining

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Materialvetenskap

    Författare :Helena Ek Jendrny; [2023]
    Nyckelord :AHSS; Gleeble; Intercritical annealing; Retained austenite; Medium Mn Steel; AHSS; Gleeble; interkritisk glödgning; austenit; Medium Mn stål;

    Sammanfattning : The third-generation advanced high strength steels, AHSS, represent an opportunity for today’s steel development, where lighter materials with maintained strength and toughness are in demand. The unique properties of these materials often stem from a tailored microstructure. LÄS MER
