1. Measuring copper abundances in the Galactic Bulge
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Astrofysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Context: The chemical evolution of Cu in the Galactic bulge have been studied in a few studies using red giant branch stars, but the ages of individual red giant stars are difficult to determine. In addition, the bulge has been a challenging region of the Milky Way galaxy to obtain high-resolution spectra of stars, except when observing through certain few small fields into the bulge that are known to have low extinction. 2. The Role of Functional Traits and Trade-offs in Seasonal Succession of Phytoplankton Community Structuring : A numerical investigation of resource acquisition traits of Lake Constance
Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för ekologi, miljö och geovetenskapSammanfattning : Long-term ecological research in deep lakes offers valuable insights into understanding changes in trophic states and organization of phytoplankton assemblages. Utilizing five decades of phytoplankton taxonomic trait data from pre-alpine Lake Constance, a confirmed negative relationship was found between phosphate and light affinity at the annual community trait level. 3. INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE ON BIOMASS AND GROWTH RATE OF BENTHIC DIATOMS
Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för biologi och miljövetenskapSammanfattning : Temperature has a significant impact on structure and abundance of microalgal community as well as on physiology (Sheehan et al., 2020). LÄS MER
4. Nedslagskratrars inverkan på Mars yt-datering. En undersökning av Mars främsta yt-dateringsmetod: ”Crater Counting”
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : Many aspects of Mars’s geological history remain enigmatic, in order to increase our knowledge of Mars’s geological history, methods for surface dating are very important. Next to the use of surface morphology superpositions, the most common surface dating method is referred to as crater counting. LÄS MER
5. The Effects of Participation in Global Value Chains : A Study of the Effects of Participation in Intermediate Trade on the Value Added Through Services and the Relative Demand for Skilled Workers in the Swedish Manufacturing Industry
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Nationalekonomiska institutionenSammanfattning : This study aims to investigate the effects of the integration in global value chains on the specialization in the production of services and the relative demand for high-skilled labor in the Swedish manufacturing industry. The empirical model and the predictions are based on theories and findings such as the phenomenon of servicification, the Hecksher-Ohlin theorem, and the Stolper-Samuelsson theorem. LÄS MER
