    Sammanfattning : Sexuality, sex, and gender represent three out of seven grounds of discriminations, and teachers carry the duty to actively counteract discrimination according to the Swedish National Agency for Education. Even though Sweden is in fifth place of gender equality and teachers are supposed to educate students to become accepting human beings, the Swedish Schools Inspectorate published that only one out of three Swedish teachers include LGBTQ questions in their teaching.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to investigate the educational potential of the Swedish translation of Agustina Bazterrica’s dystopian novel Cadáver exquisito (2017), and how the novel can be related to the Swedish upper secondary school’s steering documents—more specifically what they present regarding ethical and environmental issues. The novel is analysed thematically through an ecocritical perspective before it is analysed in relation to its “educational potential”, a term borrowed from Malin Alkestrand (2016). LÄS MER
