    Sammanfattning : Objective and Methods: This thesis investigates the relationship between insecure attachment (anxiety and avoidance), rumination, and overgeneralized episodic memory retrieval in nonclinical adults, addressing the potential moderating role of rumination in the attachment- overgeneralization link. Through a close reading of the novel Power Plays & Straight A’s by Eden Finley and Saxon James, the study examines the main characters, Foster Grant and Zach Sawyer, to observe how they fit into the roles of a traditional romance hero and heroine.
