The aim of the study is to answer the following questions: How do the foster parents describe their relationships with the foster children? What approach do the foster parents have to the fact that the foster placement is not meant to be permanent? What meaning does it have for the relationship between the foster parents and the foster children that the placement is not meant to be permanent?
