21. Smart Scooter : Solving e-scooter safety problems with multi-modal, privacy-preserving sensor technology and machine learning
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Micromobility ride-share scooters (e-scooters) have become a popular mode of transport in several major cities around the world, yet several safety and accessibility issues stem from how these scooters are operated, including sidewalk riding, unsafe parking and wrong-way riding. This thesis tackles these issues through a novel, privacy-preserving, end-to-end sensor system that employs lightweight machine learning models to provide real-time feedback to users to present unsafe scooter operation. 22. Localization of Combat Aircraft at High Altitude using Visual Odometry
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysikSammanfattning : Most of the navigation systems used in today’s aircraft rely on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). However, GNSS is not fully reliable. For example, it can be jammed by attacks on the space or ground segments of the system or denied at inaccessible areas. LÄS MER
24. Low-Cost Autonomous Vehicle using Off-Board Sensors Connected over 5G : Extension of an Autonomous Vehicle’s operational domain design
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Autonomous vehicles perceive their environment based on several sensors that are onboard the vehicle. These sensors constantly monitor the vehicle’s movement as well as the environment. There is a wide variety of sensors that can be utilized based on the type of data it provides, accuracy and cost. 25. GNSS Safety and Handling
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknikSammanfattning : Satellite navigation (such as GPS) has become widely successful and is used by billions of users daily. Accuratepositioning and timing has a wide range of applications and is increasingly being integrated in safety criticalsystems such as autonomous operations, traffic management, navigation for airplanes and other vehicles.
