12. A study on Cobot investment in the manufacturing industry
Master-uppsats, Mälardalens högskola/Akademin för innovation, design och teknikSammanfattning : A collaborative robot is something of growing interest for companies in the manufacturing industries to implement. However, a collaborative robot is quite new in today’s market. LÄS MER
13. Investigating Augmented Reality for Improving Child-Robot Interaction
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Communication in HRI, both verbal and non-verbal, can be hard for a robot to interpret and to convey which can lead to misinterpretations by both the human and the robot. In this thesis we look at answering the question if AR can be used to improve communication of a social robot’s intentions when interacting with children. LÄS MER
14. Can You Read My Mind? : A Participatory Design Study of How a Humanoid Robot Can Communicate Its Intent and Awareness
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Interaktiva och kognitiva systemSammanfattning : Communication between humans and interactive robots will benefit if people have a clear mental model of the robots' intent and awareness. The aim with this thesis was to investigate how human-robot interaction is affected by manipulation of social cues on the robot. LÄS MER
15. “Do you want to take a short survey?” : Evaluating and improving the UX and VUI of a survey skill in the social robot Furhat: a qualitative case study
Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för informatik (IK)Sammanfattning : The purpose of this qualitative case study is to evaluate an early stage survey skill developed for the social robot Furhat, and look into how the user experience (UX) and voice user interface (VUI) of that skill can be improved. Several qualitative methods have been used: expert evaluations using heuristics for human-robot interaction (HRI), user evaluations including observations and interviews, as well as a quantitative questionnaire (RoSAS – Robot Social Attribution Scale).
